{"id":208717,"date":"2025-09-05T11:36:05","date_gmt":"2025-09-05T15:36:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/art-and-design\/?p=208717"},"modified":"2025-09-05T11:36:05","modified_gmt":"2025-09-05T15:36:05","slug":"the-department-of-art-and-design-welcomes-seth-howard","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/art-and-design\/2025\/09\/05\/the-department-of-art-and-design-welcomes-seth-howard\/","title":{"rendered":"The Department of Art and Design Welcomes Seth Howard"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/art-and-design\">Department of Art &amp; Design<\/a> is pleased to welcome Seth Howard as a new Assistant Teaching Professor in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/art-and-design\/academic-programs\/fashion-design-merchandising-ba\/\">BA in Fashion Design and Merchandising program<\/a> at 精品成人福利在线 University.<\/p>\n<p>Seth joins 精品成人福利在线 University from Western Kentucky University, where he most recently served as a Full-time Instructor of Fashion Design and Merchandising and was honored with the 2023\u20132024 University Excellence in Teaching Award.<\/p>\n<p>He holds an MBA from Western Kentucky University, a Master\u2019s in Global Fashion Management from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), and a BFA in Fashion Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).<\/p>\n<p>Before transitioning to academia in 2020, Seth built a distinguished 20-year career in the fashion industry. He began as a celebrity stylist and fashion editor for top men\u2019s magazines, later moving into marketing and brand strategy. As Marketing Director, Brand + Trend for Randa Accessories, the largest global manufacturer of men\u2019s accessories, he played a pivotal role in shaping brand identity and consumer engagement.<\/p>\n<p>Now in the classroom, Seth brings this wealth of experience directly to his students. He is committed to leveraging his extensive professional network to enrich learning opportunities and connect students with leading figures in the fashion industry.<\/p>\n<p>Seth shared, \u201cI\u2019m very excited to be managing the annual fashion show and to be able to bring my years of styling and production experience to that platform.
