Hurricane Irma made landfall in the Florida Keys as a powerful Category 4 storm on September 10, 2017. Dr. Colette Feehan, an assistant professor in the Department of Biology at 精品成人福利在线 University, and her team are conducting research to examine the health and resiliency of Florida\u2019s coral reef ecosystem. A grant\u00a0from the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine<\/a> will allow for rapid-response research following Hurricane Irma, including establishment of new study sites, and replacement of equipment lost during the storm.<\/p>\n
