Purpose<\/strong><br \/>\nSBUS study rooms are provided to support academic, collaborative work by 精品成人福利在线 University students. These rooms are not intended for personal, recreational, or non-academic use. This policy establishes clear expectations to ensure fair access, protect facilities and technology, and maintain a productive learning environment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Authority &amp; Scope<\/strong><br \/>\nThis policy is issued by the School of Business (SBUS) and is enforced by SBUS administration and authorized staff.<br \/>\nUse of SBUS study rooms constitutes agreement to comply with this policy. Failure to comply may result in immediate loss of access and additional action as outlined below.<br \/>\nThis policy applies to all SBUS-controlled study rooms, regardless of location.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Eligibility &amp; Reservations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>3.1 Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Only currently enrolled 精品成人福利在线 University students may use SBUS study rooms.<\/li>\n<li>Reservations must be made using an official Montclair NetID.<\/li>\n<li>Reservations are non-transferable.<\/li>\n<li>The student who makes the reservation must be present for the duration of the booking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>3.2 Study Room Use<\/strong><br \/>\nStudy rooms are intended for academic and collaborative study use by one or more students with a maximum of 4 per room.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.3 Reservation Limits<\/strong><br \/>\nTo ensure fair access:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maximum reservation length: 2 hours<\/li>\n<li>Maximum total usage: 4 hours per student per day<\/li>\n<li>Only one active reservation per student at a time<\/li>\n<li>Reserving multiple rooms for overlapping or consecutive use is prohibited<\/li>\n<li>Alternating rooms with friends to extend usage is prohibited<\/li>\n<li>Personal items may not be used to hold or reserve a room.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>4. Arrival, No-Shows, and Cancellations<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reservations must be claimed within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time.<\/li>\n<li>Unclaimed reservations may be released for use by others.<\/li>\n<li>Students are expected to cancel reservations they cannot attend.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>5. Conduct &amp; Use Expectations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>5.1 Academic Use<\/strong><br \/>\nStudy rooms are for academic work only, including studying, group projects, and course-related collaboration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5.2 Room Integrity &amp; Safety<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Furniture may not be moved, rearranged, or removed.<\/li>\n<li>Installed technology (monitors, cables, power, peripherals) may not be disconnected, altered, or tampered with.<\/li>\n<li>These restrictions exist for safety, accessibility, and system integrity reasons.<\/li>\n<li>Any damage or technical issues must be reported to SBUS staff immediately in the Technology Support Center<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>5.3 Room Condition<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rooms must be left clean and orderly.<\/li>\n<li>Trash must be disposed of properly in trash\/recycling bins.<\/li>\n<li>Whiteboards must be erased.<\/li>\n<li>Personal items may not be used to hold or reserve a room.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>5.4 Privacy &amp; Access<\/strong><br \/>\nStudy rooms are not private spaces. Authorized SBUS staff may enter rooms at any time to ensure compliance with this policy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Prohibited Behavior<\/strong><br \/>\nThe following behaviors are explicitly prohibited:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Moving or reconfiguring furniture<\/li>\n<li>Disconnecting or modifying installed technology<\/li>\n<li>Reserving rooms for others or without being present<\/li>\n<li>No coordinated reservations resulting in a group occupying a study room for more than four hours.<\/li>\n<li>Use of rooms for non-academic purposes.<\/li>\n<li>Behavior that is loud and\/or disruptive.<\/li>\n<li>Exceeding room occupancy limits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>7. Enforcement &amp; Consequences<\/strong><br \/>\nSBUS staff may take immediate action to address violations of this policy in order to preserve fair access, safety, and appropriate use of academic space.<\/p>\n<p>Progressive enforcement may include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Verbal or written warning<\/li>\n<li>Removal of bookings from system<\/li>\n<li>Immediate removal from the study room<\/li>\n<li>Temporary suspension of study room reservation privileges<\/li>\n<li>Permanent loss of reservation privileges<\/li>\n<li>Violations may be referred to the University\u2019s student conduct process and handled in accordance with the 精品成人福利在线 University Student Code of Conduct. This policy supplements, and does not replace, University-wide policies governing student behavior.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/policies\/all-policies\/code-of-conduct\/\"><strong>精品成人福利在线 University Student Code of Conduct:<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>8. Appeals<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SBUS study room access is a privilege associated with appropriate use of School of Business facilities.<\/p>\n<p>Students may submit a written appeal regarding the suspension or loss of SBUS study room reservation privileges to SBUS Administration within five (5) business days of the enforcement action. Appeals must be submitted in writing via the designated SBUS appeal process (as published on the SBUS website or communicated at the time of enforcement).<\/p>\n<p>Appeals are limited to review of whether this policy was applied appropriately and may be considered only in cases of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Factual error<\/li>\n<li>Procedural error<\/li>\n<li>New information not reasonably available at the time of the original decision<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Appeals must include relevant documentation. SBUS is not required to conduct hearings or meetings as part of the appeal process.<\/p>\n<p>Study room access remains suspended during the appeal review process.<\/p>\n<p>SBUS will review the appeal and issue a written determination within a reasonable window of receipt. The decision is final with respect to SBUS study room access.<br \/>\nThis appeals process does not replace or supersede the University\u2019s student conduct process. Matters involving serious or repeated violations may be referred to the 精品成人福利在线 University Student Code of Conduct in accordance with University policy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>9.
