Wendy Padykula, MA, CCC-SLP will speak with us about an opportunity for our students to take part in Joey Travolta’s Short Film Camp, this Summer and get clinical hours.<\/p>\n
Joey is John Travolta’s brother and the program is very exciting. It is a film writing and making camp for children on the autism spectrum. It promises to be a great, informative and wonderful evening. Along with Wendy, you will have an opportunity to meet one of the campers, a mom of one of the campers and other representatives of the autism community. There will be a discussion of Marblejam Kids (a 501c3 organization) and how they are a part of this exciting venture. Please don’t miss out. The clinician speaker series is designed to expand on our student-clinician’s learning “outside the classroom”. We encourage and appreciate all of our students’ attendance at these events. Feel free to bring a friend. There will be refreshments and raffles for free items, too!!<\/p>\n
