{"id":22,"date":"2023-04-24T10:49:33","date_gmt":"2023-04-24T14:49:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/dining-services\/?page_id=22"},"modified":"2025-08-25T08:57:13","modified_gmt":"2025-08-25T12:57:13","slug":"for-residents","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/dining-services\/meal-plan-information\/for-residents\/","title":{"rendered":"For Residents"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>Montclair Campus<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Traditional Hall Residents (29 or less Earned Credit Hours):<\/strong> Resident students living in traditional residence halls that have earned 29 credit hours or less may choose from Unlimited, 220 Block, 210 Block plans.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Traditional Hall Residents (30+ Earned Credit Hours):<\/strong> Resident students living in traditional residence halls that have earned 30 or more credit hours may choose from Unlimited, 220 Block, 210 Block, 175 Block or 135 Block plans.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Apartment Residents:<\/strong> Campus apartment residents assigned to Hawk Crossings and The Village at Little Falls, are required to have a meal plan. At the minimum, a $265 Apartment Plan (per semester) must be maintained. You may also opt to add any higher level meal plan.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Graduate Students:<\/strong> Graduate students living on campus are subject to the same meal plan restrictions as above depending if you are in traditional housing (considered as +30 Earned Credit Hours) or Hawk Crossings\/The Village.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Bloomfield Campus<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>All students assigned to on-campus housing (including traditional hall, apartment and theme houses) must select either the Unlimited or 210 block plan. If no meal plan is selected, the system will default to the Unlimited meal plan automatically.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please review the <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/residence-life\/apply-for-housing\/housing-agreement\/\" target=\"_blank\">Residence License and Dining Services Agreement<\/a> for details.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>All Residents: <\/strong>Students living in University-owned residence halls, apartments and houses at both the Montclair and Bloomfield campuses, are required to maintain a Meal Plan. Not only is a meal plan required for all our students living on campus, a specific meal plan may also be stipulated based on the credit hours earned or by the building where the student is housed.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are currently asking all resident students to log back into RMS and enroll or update their meal plan through RMS as this will help correctly and efficiently update your meal plan on your student bill.
