On February 11, 2022, the Board of Trustees approved a resolution which makes the commitment to adopt a Complete Streets Policy for the 精品成人福利在线 campus.<\/p>\n
Complete Streets refers to an approach to making transportation decisions where infrastructure is designed and operated with the safety, mobility, and accessibility needs of users of all ages and abilities in mind. \u2014 New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT)<\/p>\n
The resolution defines Complete Streets as “a means to provide a comprehensive, integrated, connected multi-modal network of transportation options through planning, design, construction, maintenance, and the operation of new and retrofitted transportation facilities along the entire right-of-way for all users of all ages and abilities.”<\/p>\n
Additionally, the newer concept of \u201cComplete and Green Streets\u201d uses the principles of Complete Streets and incorporates sustainable\/green infrastructure to manage stormwater runoff<\/a> and may go further to incorporate the use of recycled materials in installed fixtures and structures (e.g. seating, signage, paving mixtures).<\/p>\n
