Canvas is known for its user-friendly online environment and ability to easily connect instructors and students both in and out of the classroom. Canvas includes basic LMS functionality for managing enrollments, sharing documents, submitting assignments, and assigning grades, as well as personalized features for individual students. All support is provided by clicking on the \u201cHelp\u201d tab in the application or by calling the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/information-technology\/it-service-desk\/\">IT Service Desk<\/a>. More information is provided in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/information-technology\/canvas-faculty\/\">Faculty Canvas Guide.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/nest.montclair.edu\">NEST<\/a>: Acronym for Network Engagement and Student\/Staff Transactions, is the primary academic portal for 精品成人福利在线 University. It is a single sign-on portal that allows faculty to view their class rosters, verify student attendance and input grades at the end of the semester. Employees will have varying uses for NEST depending on their role at the University. They can use NEST as the access point for applications such as <strong>Banner<\/strong>, <strong>Degree Works, <\/strong>and <strong>Workday<\/strong>. All these services can be reviewed through the <a href=\"\/information-technology\/nest-faculty-staff\/\"> NEST Tutorial and FAQ documents<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myworkday.com\/montclair\">WORKDAY<\/a>: Application utilized to manage human resources&#8217; data. Payroll, Timesheet Approvals, Personnel Information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Setting Up Email, Calendar, and File Storage with Google Apps<\/h2>\n<p>精品成人福利在线 University uses Google Suite. This provides faculty, staff and\u00a0students with unlimited storage for files (documents, spreadsheets, pictures, etc.) and email. In addition, Google Calendar is the official tool for scheduling meetings and resources. Directions on how to do this, are provided on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/information-technology\/connect-to-wireless-network-faculty\">Connect to Wireless<\/a> page. When using wireless, it is important to pick the right Wi-Fi SSID access point from the list below:<\/p>\n<h2>Wireless Networks<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>MSU-Secure (Preferred)\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0The recommended option for anyone with a 精品成人福利在线 NetID which includes the capability of using WPA2 encryption.<\/li>\n<li><strong>MSU-WiFi<\/strong>\u00a0 A network for older computers and devices that are not capable of using WPA2 encryption.
