The message, with the subject *ACTION REQUIRED: Update Direct Deposit.” or “ALERT: Update Direct Deposit”,\u00a0 contains a link to a fake online form that seeks to collect bank account and ATM PIN information from victims.<\/p>\n

If you have received a similar email message but did\u00a0*not respond*<\/strong>\u00a0with any information, it is safe to just delete it.<\/p>\n

However, if you responded to the scam by providing personal information, account credentials, or bank account information, please contact your local academic technology teams or contact the IT Service Desk at 973-655-7971 or by email at\u00a0itservicedesk@montclair.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n
