Learn more<\/strong><\/p>\n Teresa Fiore, associate professor and Inserra Chair in Italian and Italian American Studies,<\/a> and Marisa Trubiano, associate professor in the Department of Spanish and Italian<\/a> received a $15,000 grant from Italy’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (the grant was awarded in Spring 2017).<\/p>\n They will use this award to create a capstone course in audiovisual translation to prepare students to embark on careers in translation for the creative and cultural industries through professional projects developed with partners from the private and public sectors, with a focus on the internationalization of Italian culture.<\/p>\n\n
