We will also share Canvas tips & tricks to ensure you have everything you need to effectively and efficiently prepare your Fall courses.<\/p>\n
\nGenerative artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot have exploded in popularity and pose many questions in higher education related to academic integrity and the authenticity of work produced by our students. This workshop empowers faculty with an overview of AI text generators, assessment design approaches for mitigating misuse, considerations on leveraging these tools to enhance learning activities, and developing an AI policy for your fall courses.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nNew Quizzes is the new quiz tool now available in Canvas. New Quizzes allows for new question types, additional quiz setting options, and enhanced student performance analytics. In this session, you will learn about the new quiz options (Hot Spot, Categorization, and Stimulus questions) and the differences between our current quiz tool and New Quizzes.<\/span><\/p>\n
