Details and instructions for making a reservation with a museum will be provided to you by the Library <strong>after<\/strong> you complete the Library&#8217;s reservation form.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NOTE FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS:<\/strong> If you have not borrowed any item University Libraries before, in order to expedite the process, please fill out the <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/montclair.co1.qualtrics.com\/jfe\/form\/SV_cRX11C7ISBNjboi\" target=\"_blank\">University Libraries Community Borrower Registration Form<\/a>. A &#8220;community member&#8221; is anyone not affiliated with the university (e.g. does not have a NetID).<\/p>\n<p>More information about our policies for borrowing museum passes can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/library\/about-the-library\/policies\/museum-pass-policy\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Important Reminders<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Please double check the museum website for availability on the day you plan to visit. Some museums are closed on certain days of the week, and there are scheduled closings for holidays and special events.<\/li>\n<li>Please bring your Montclair ID along with your borrowed museum pass to the museum.<\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">The Bloomfield Campus Library is closed on Saturday and Sunday. The center focuses on educating the community about local history through exhibits, as well as various programs including guided house tours, walking tours of local areas, cooking classes, educational events, and community farm programs.<\/p>\n<p>Established in 1965, the campus includes three historic buildings: the Crane House and Historic YWCA (1796), the Nathaniel Crane House (1818), and the Clark House (1894). These sites offer a glimpse into the lives of the diverse communities that have shaped Montclair over the years. As the first institution to give support to modernism in America, the NMOA continues to pursue new definitions of cultural innovation and is among the 3% of U.S. museums that are nationally accredited.<\/p>\n<p>The Museum\u2019s 4.5 acre campus includes the National Historic Landmark Ballantine House, the Alice Ransom Dreyfuss Memorial Garden, and Horizon Plaza. The NMOA partners with the community to preserve and advocate for the arts, history and culture and to host special events such as the Newark Black Film Festival and the Newark Arts Festival. Each pass allows two adults and any children in the household 17 and younger free admission.<\/strong> To access the museum you must:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Submit a request to University Libraries for a pass.<\/li>\n<li>Once confirmed, pick up the pass at your chosen pickup location during <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/library\/about-the-library\/hours\/\">open hours<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em>Reserving tickets online is encouraged.
