Veteran and Military Affiliated students are eligible for a wide range of benefits and resources. Below is an overview of the different benefits and resources, as well as the links to learn more about them.<\/p>\n

VA Education Office<\/dt>\n
VA education benefits help Veterans, service members, and their qualified family members with needs like paying college tuition, finding the right school or training program, and getting career counseling. You can call the VA Education Office<\/a> at 888-442-4551<\/a>.<\/dd>\n
Post 9\/11 GI Bill\u00ae<\/dt>\n
If you\u2019ve served on active duty after September 10, 2001, you may qualify for the Post-9\/11 GI Bill\u00ae<\/a> (Chapter 33). Find out if you can get this education benefit.<\/dd>\n
VA Vocational Rehabilitation<\/dt>\n
You may receive Veteran Readiness and Employment<\/a> (VR&E) (Formerly known as Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment) services to help with job training, employment accommodations, resume development, and job seeking skills coaching.<\/dd>\n
VA Education Benefits for Survivors and Dependents<\/dt>\n
If you\u2019re a dependent spouse or child\u2014or the surviving spouse or child\u2014of a Veteran, you may qualify for Chapter 35 benefits or job training through a GI Bill\u00ae program. Find out if you\u2019re eligible for VA Education Benefits for Survivors and Dependents<\/a> (also called Chapter 35 benefits).<\/dd>\n
Montgomery GI Bill\u00ae Selected Reserve<\/dt>\n
The Montgomery GI Bill\u00ae Selected Reserve<\/a> (MGIB-SR) program offers up to 36 months of education and training benefits. If you\u2019re a member of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps or Coast Guard Reserve, Army National Guard, or Air National Guard, you may be eligible for this benefit. New Jersey National Guard Waiver<\/dt>\n
National Guard Waiver covers a students\u2019 tuition only. The Waiver does not cover a student\u2019s fees, room\/board, and meal plans. Students must obtain a signed Commander\u2019s Certificate from their unit each semester and submit to the Office of Veteran and Military Resources<\/a> (gubitosij@montclair.edu<\/a>).<\/dd>\n
Military Tuition Assistance<\/dt>\n

Title 38 USC 3679(e) Compliance<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The following policies and procedures are of primary concern to veterans, servicepersons, members of guard and selected reserves, and other eligible persons who receive VA educational benefits while enrolled at the University.<\/p>\n

In accordance with Title 38 US Code 3679 subsection (e), this school adopts the following additional provisions for any students using U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) Post 9\/11 G.I. Bill\u00ae (Ch. 33) or Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (Ch. 31) benefits, while payment to the institution is pending from the VA. This school will not:<\/p>\n
