Students will choose either a Japanese or Chinese concentration, with one of the other two Asian languages counting as a secondary language.<\/p>\n<p>Students may also double-minor in Asian Languages and in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/modern-languages-and-literatures\/programs-of-study\/chinese\/\">Chinese<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/modern-languages-and-literatures\/programs-of-study\/japanese\/\">Japanese<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Classes range from such topics as Chinese Cinema, Japanese Calligraphy, Business Chinese, and Korean language courses (Beginning through Intermediate), plus opportunities to <a href=\"http:\/\/montclair.edu\/study-abroad\">Study Abroad<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For more information or to declare the minor today, please contact Dr. Wing Shan Ho at <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"mailto:how@montclair.edu\" target=\"_blank\">how@montclair.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures is pleased to announce our newest minor, the Asian Languages Minor!
