The 精品成人福利在线 University Chorale will make its first post-pandemic appearance with the New Jersey Symphony later this month when the student ensemble performs Gabriel Faur\u00e9’s Requiem<\/em>. In addition, the Symphony itself will perform a work by longtime Montclair Township resident George Walker, the first Black composer to win the Pulitzer Prize for music.<\/p>\n

Performances will take place at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark on Thursday, March 30 at 1:30 p.m. and Friday, March 31 at 8 p.m. and at the State Theatre in New Brunswick on Sunday, April 2 at 3 p.m.<\/p>\n

Heather J. Buchanan, director of Choral Activities for the John J. Cali School of Music, will conduct the 130-voice choir in this performance of one of the world\u2019s great masterworks of vocal music. She describes Faur\u00e9\u2019s Requiem<\/em> as a \u201cwarm, human-scale work full of consolation and hope for those of us left to mourn the passing of our loved ones.<\/p>\n
