This bill expands upon the New Jersey Tuition Equality Act, also referred to as the \u201cNew Jersey Dream Act\u201d to provide NJ Grants and Scholarships to make college more affordable.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Eligibility Requirements for DREAMers:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Attended a New Jersey high school for three full years or more;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Graduated from a New Jersey high school or received the equivalent of a high school diploma in New Jersey;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Be an entering student or currently enrolled in an accredited New Jersey College or University;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8211; An affidavit must be on file with the institution of higher education stating that the student has filed an application to legalize the student\u2019s immigration status or will file an application as soon as the student is eligible to do so.\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/apply.montclair.edu\/register\/affidavit\">New Students Affidavit<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/montclair.studentforms.com\/\">Returning Students Affidavit<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To receive state aid, you must be enrolled full-time at a four-year institution or at least half time at a two-year institution.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"prpl-drawer\"><div class=\"prpl-drawer-header\">Applying for Financial Aid<\/div><div class=\"prpl-drawer-content\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">To apply for NJ financial aid, go to the New Jersey Higher Education Student Assistance Authority (NJ HESAA) website to complete The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hesaa.org\/Pages\/NJAlternativeApplication.aspx\">New Jersey Alternative Financial Aid Application<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Once you have completed your application, you will need to create an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/njfams.hesaa.org\/NJFAMS\/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=\/NJFAMS\/int\/FinAid\/index.aspx\">NJ FAMS<\/a>\u00a0account.\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">NJ HESAA will contact you to request additional documentation through the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/njfams.hesaa.org\/NJFAMS\/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=\/NJFAMS\/int\/FinAid\/index.aspx\">NJ FAMS site<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Required documentation may include, parent(s) Tax Returns (e.g. 2023 for the current 2025-2026 academic year, 2024 for the upcoming 2026-2027 year) and\/or other income information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">精品成人福利在线 University will confirm your transcript and high school diploma and affidavit.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Once your application is reviewed, approved, and certified, you will receive a notification of eligibility. If you transfer to another school, you may need to submit information again for the new school.
