Grant amounts are determined by the US Department of Education.<\/li>\n<li>Your actual grant amount will reflect the number of credits for which you are enrolled.\n<ul>\n<li>If you are registered for less than 12 credits your Pell grant will be prorated to the allowable amount based on the US Department of Education\u2019s schedule.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>There is lifetime limit to the amount of federal Pell money students can receive.\n<ul>\n<li>If you are withdrawing from classes and\/or not passing classing, you may reach your Pell limit before you complete your degree.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Federal Supplementary Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG):<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A grant provided by the federal government to 精品成人福利在线 to assist undergraduate students with exceptional financial need. Recipients must be eligible for a Pell grant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.ed.gov\/sa\/types\/grants-scholarships\/teach\">Teacher\u00a0Education Assistance for College and Higher Education\u00a0Grant<\/a>\u00a0<strong>(TEACH GRANT):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A federal grant up to $4000.00 per year to students who intend to teach in designated high-need fields in a public or private elementary or secondary school that serves students from low income families.<\/li>\n<li>If you receive a TEACH grant but do not complete the required teaching service, you will be required to repay the grant as a Federal Unsubsidized Stafford Loan, with the interest charged from the date of each TEACH grant disbursement.<\/li>\n<li>Students must be admitted into a program with a Teacher Education certification to qualify for the grant.<\/li>\n<li>This grant is only available to eligible junior, senior and graduate students.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For the federal PELL, FSEOG and TEACH grant programs, a student is an undergraduate student only if s\/he has not earned, or completed the requirements for a bachelor\u2019s degree.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>State Grants<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>New Jersey Higher Education Student Assistance Authority \u2013 NJ HESAA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hesaa.org\/Documents\/TAG_program.pdf\">Tuition Aid Grant (TAG)<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A grant provided by the State of New Jersey to full-time undergraduate students (12 credits or more per semester) who meet need criteria established by the State of New Jersey.\n<ul>\n<li>Recipients must be New Jersey residents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Students may be required to submit additional documentation.\n<ul>\n<li>HESAA will notify students of which documents are needed if necessary.<\/li>\n<li>To submit documents electronically (Electronic Document Collection), please log in to your NJFAMS account.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/red-hawk-central\/financial-aid\/garden-state-guarantee-program\/\">Garden State Guarantee (GSG)<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Financial Aid program that provides up to four semesters of free tuition and fees for New Jersey, Junior and Senior Students based off the families adjusted gross income (AGI).\n<ul>\n<li>Recipients must a New Jersey resident.<\/li>\n<li>Must be enrolled full time (12 credits or more).<\/li>\n<li>Funding is based on annual state allocations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nj.gov\/highereducation\/EOF\/EOF_Eligibility.shtml\">Educational Opportunity Fund Grant (EOF)<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A grant provided by the State of New Jersey for students with exceptional financial need from educationally disadvantaged backgrounds.<\/li>\n<li>Students must be New Jersey residents<\/li>\n<li>Recipients must maintain full-time (12 credits or more per semester) enrollment and be designated an EOF student at the time of admission to Montclair.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"responsive-image-holder wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" II:<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The NJ STARS II program is a continuation of the NJ STARS program that provides successful NJ STARS students at New Jersey county colleges with funding to transfer to a New Jersey four-year public college or university to earn a bachelor\u2019s degree.<\/li>\n<li>Funding for this program is contingent upon the availability of funds from NEW JERSEY Higher Education Students Assistance Authority (NJ HESAA).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>NJ STARS II Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must meet all admission or application requirements established by the New Jersey four-year public institution.<\/li>\n<li>Must meet all institutional deadlines for admission and financial aid.<\/li>\n<li>Once admitted, students must submit a final county college transcript that reflects a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher to the New Jersey four-year public institution.<\/li>\n<li>Must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (<a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/\"><strong>FAFSA<\/strong><\/a>) annually within established state deadlines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/red-hawk-central\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/59\/2025\/05\/Fact_Sheet_for_College_Transfers_Beginning_Fall_2025.pdf\">Learn more about the NJ STARS II
