Registered Student Organizations are separated into categories Academic, Cultural, Social and Special Interest. Organizations are allowed to self identify with what fits with their RSOs mission, goal, or objective. RSOs give students the opportunity to self govern and the room to express themselves while giving them a new leadership opportunity. Consists of a group of students who represent a community of students whether it be by their shared interests, culture, identity, or ideals. These organizations follow the requirements set forth by the Student Government Association Statutes and have access to SGA funding.<\/p>\n
Membership is open to all students, regardless of any characteristic protected by law, including race, creed, color, national origin, nationality, ancestry, age, sex\/gender, pregnancy, marital status, civil union status, domestic partnership status, familial status, religion, affectional or sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, atypical hereditary cellular or blood trait, genetic information, liability for service in the Armed Forces of the United States, or disability.<\/p>\n
