The Department of Theatre and Dance presents Phenomenal Woman<\/em>, written and performed by acclaimed actress, Ami Brabson. The one-woman show tells the story of Brabson\u2019s life, celebrating the mentors she has had on the path to success.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Brabson has several television and stage credits as an actress, including such hit television shows as Law & Order: SVU<\/em> and Damages<\/em>. She has performed in many notable regional theatres nationally, appearing as Rose in August Wilson\u2019s Pulitzer Prize winning Fences<\/em> at The Public Theater in Pittsburgh.<\/p>\n Phenomenal Women <\/em>weaves together poetry, song and story to create a compelling and uplifting evening of performance. Brabson will perform her original work twice only on April 14th<\/sup> at 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm in the Life Hall Studio Theatre. The event is free, but seating is limited.<\/p>\n
