Parents say they鈥檙e keen to get COVID-19 vaccine for younger children
Dr. Stephanie Silvera notes benefits far outweigh the risks

鈥淚 think that when you鈥檙e looking at the risk associated with the vaccine you also need to weigh out the risk associated with COVID. And I know one of the big concerns for parents is issues with myocarditis. However, we know that myocarditis is more common post-COVID infection than it is post-COVID vaccine. And so for me, the benefits far outweigh the risk,鈥 said Dr. Silvera.
