Students Tour Genewiz

Our visit to on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, was awesome! We had the opportunity to hear from wonderful representatives from Genewiz: Aaron White, Human Resources Project Manager; Abby Candelora, Team Lead for Sanger Sequencing; Michele Demko, Team Lead for Next Generation Sequencing, Brian Mitchell, Laboratory Technician II; Jennifer Pestalozzi, Team Lead for Sales Operations; Dr. Minqian Wang, Study Manager for Next Generation Sequencing; and Edward Shepherd, Shift Manager.
Collectively, our students at ¾«Æ·³ÉÈ˸£ÀûÔÚÏß University (MSU) learned how their courses in molecular biology, genetics, and more directly related to industry needs and the practices of genomics. MSU students enjoyed a tour of the facility, a panel discussion, and networking.
