鈥淎utism Awareness鈥 Counter-Programming: Raising awareness not of 鈥渟igns鈥 or 鈥渟ymptoms鈥 of autism, nor of 鈥渢reatments鈥 or 鈥渋nterventions鈥 for sale on the market. Rather, raising public awareness of systematic and institutionalized forms of discrimination against and oppression of autistic people: restraints and seclusion in schools, widespread unquestioned use of ABA, and the industrial-scale commodification of autistic people.
