At the beginning of the class, students were asked to draw two quadratics on mini whiteboards that looked 鈥渜uite different from one another.鈥 After working individually, students discussed their graphs in small groups. The teacher drew students together after some time and facilitated a whole鈥恈lass discussion based on the different graphs students created.
