Dr. Lauren Sullivan, DNP, MSN, APN, CPNP-PC, is a dedicated pediatric nurse practitioner with over 23 years of experience in pediatric healthcare, including 18 years as a pediatric nurse practitioner. Throughout her career, she has remained committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care while advocating for the health and well-being of children and their families.
Dr. Sullivan earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Villanova University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Seton Hall University. She completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at Chamberlain University in 2021, further strengthening her expertise in clinical practice, leadership, and evidence-based care.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Sullivan is passionate about nursing education and mentoring future nurses. As an Associate Professor of Nursing, she prepares undergraduate nursing students for professional practice by integrating clinical expertise with innovative teaching strategies. She continues to practice in pediatric primary care, ensuring that her teaching remains grounded in current clinical practice and the evolving needs of pediatric patients.
Dr. Sullivan's scholarly interests focus on improving pediatric health outcomes through research and evidence-based practice. Her work includes studies on childhood obesity, pediatric infectious diseases, and strategies to enhance the quality of care for children. She is committed to advancing the nursing profession through teaching, research, clinical practice, and service to the community.
With more than two decades of pediatric experience, Dr. Sullivan is dedicated to shaping the next generation of nurses while continuing to make meaningful contributions to pediatric healthcare.
