Each year, students may apply to be the Student Speaker at ¾«Æ·³ÉÈ˸£ÀûÔÚÏß University’s annual Commencement ceremony. Students must be eligible to apply, and must complete an application process.
Eligibility Requirements
- A minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA
- Graduating in the spring semester, or the prior fall or summer semesters
Application Steps
The application process has two phases:
- Students will submit a written application that will be reviewed by their college or school’s dean’s office.
- If selected as a potential finalist, students will be required to write a commencement speech to present orally before a panel of faculty, staff and administrators
The application process and its deadlines for the upcoming Commencement will be announced in February.
