Montclair Students Call Bloomfield Campus Home

200 students were offered the opportunity to reside on the Bloomfield campus after Montclair housing reached full capacity; more than 50 students moved in.


University Names Kieran Barrett Chief of Police

Barrett has served in the University Police Department for 25 years, most recently as Interim Police Chief.

Upcoming Events

  • The 41st Annual Law School Admissions Day will take place Wednesday, October 11 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the University Hall Conference Center. The event will feature more than 35 law school representatives, educational workshops and resources. Refreshments will be served. .

University Communications and Marketing invites staff to participate in two new initiatives:

  • The Website Overhaul Project. Two Web Overhaul Project town hall sessions will take place next week October 9 and 10. Participants can attend in person or via zoom. .
  • Internal Communications Project. Staff and faculty are invited to participate in focus groups and individual interviews to share thoughts and insights on current communication channels specific to employee communications.   • Make an appointment today to reserve a flu shot at the campus flu clinics this fall. Walk-ins are welcome while supplies last.
  • EMS has installed hemorrhage/bleeding control kits and Narcan in Automated External Defibrillator (AED) cabinets on campus and is offering training sessions on how to use the hemorrhage control and Narcan kits.   • Did you know the Center for Writing Excellence is open to all University employees? The center provides free, confidential appointments for feedback on all types of writing including professional documents, emails, memos and improving general writing skills. In-person and online appointments are available.
  • Mindfulness Meditation is held every Monday online, 12-12:30 p.m. and open to all with an interest in learning about meditation and developing mindfulness. .
