NJ Transit Service Disruption
NJ Transit and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen (BLET) are working to reach a settlement with the engineers union. Please be aware that all rail service has ceased as of 12:01 a.m. today. NJ Transit has developed a contingency plan and details can be found on the .
University Shuttle Service Schedule
Today, Friday, May 16, will be the last day of service for the Bloomfield/Montclair shuttle, with service resuming on Friday, August 22. This summer, there will be no Bloomfield Connection, no Nighthawk Service and no Shopper to Clifton Commons. Additionally, there will be no shuttle service over Memorial Day Weekend, from Saturday, May 24 through Monday, May 26. This information is also available on the Shuttle Services webpage. Open Fire Safety Training
Fire Safety will be hosting an Open Campus Fire Safety Training Day on Wednesday, May 21 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Stone Hall. This hands-on training is for all staff and faculty. Our goal is to promote campus safety awareness before the start of summer. We will be demonstrating the effects of smoke doors, how to evacuate a smoke filled environment (using theater smoke) and fire extinguisher training. This training is hands on and anyone can walk in at any time. Shuttle services will be provided from Bloomfield campus and the Overlook office building. Departure and return times are listed on the .

This award is presented in recognition of significant contributions to EASFAA through leadership and association activities.
