The Graduate School provides funding through the Student Research and Conference Travel Fund (SRCTF) to support graduate students who are presenting research at conferences or traveling to conduct research.
Funding is limited and awarded on a rolling, first come, first served basis, so we encourage students to apply early.
Eligibility and Funding Details
- Open to graduate students in good standing
- Master’s students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Doctoral students must have a GPA of 3.2 or higher
- You must be the presenting author at the conference, or traveling to conduct research for your thesis, dissertation, or capstone
- Reimbursement of up to $300
- Students may receive this award up to three times during their graduate career
- Students may receive the award no more than once per semester
Important Dates
- Application deadline for 2025–2026: May 26, 2026
- Upcoming travel must take place on or before June 30, 2026
- Previous travel must have taken place on or after July 1, 2025
Please Note
- Incomplete applications will not be reviewed
- This award provides partial support and may not cover the full cost of travel
- Students should plan accordingly, as they may not receive the full amount needed for travel
