Gino Tellini聽is Professor of Italian Literature at the University of Florence where he serves as both Director of “The Aldo Palazzeschi Research Center鈥 and Chair of the M.A. Program in Modern Philology. Tellini has also introduced the International Ph.D. Program in Italian Literature at the University of Florence. Some of his recent books include:聽Rifare il verso. Simone Magherini聽is Assistant Professor of Italian Literature at the University of Florence. His research interests are in 18th- and 19th-century poetry, specifically the historical avant-gardes (Lucini, Palazzeschi, Papini, Prezzolini, Soffici, Marinetti.) He has also worked on projects in the digital humanities (Carte d鈥檃utore online, 2014). He is the author and curator of several publications including:聽Tradizione e Modernit脿. Irene Gambacorti聽is Assistant Professor of Italian Literature at the University of Florence. Focused on 18th- and 19th-century fiction and on the relationships between literature and the visual arts, photography, and film, her essays and books include:聽Verga a Firenze. Marino Biondi聽is Associate Professor of Italian literature at the University of Florence. A scholar of 19th- and 20th-century literature and historiography, he has focused on Risorgimento literature in three volumes in particular:聽La tradizione della patria聽I,聽Letteratura e Risorgimento da Vittorio Alfieri a Ferdinando Martini; II,听Carduccianesimo e storia d鈥橧talia聽(2009-2010); 补苍诲听Il discorso letterario sulla Nazione. Andrea Dini聽is Associate Professor of Italian at 精品成人福利在线 University. His research focuses on Italo Calvino鈥檚 early years (1941-1949), Resistance literature, modern re-writings of Dante (in Pasolini, Luzi, Sanguineti) and Second Language Acquisition. Dr. Dini is the author of the book Il Premio Nazionale 鈥楻iccione鈥 1947 e Italo Calvino (2007) and the co-author of the introductory textbook Prego! (McGraw-Hill). He is also the co-editor of and contributor to the volume Approaches to Petrarch鈥檚 Canzoniere and the Petrarchan Tradition (MLA, 2014). His articles on Calvino, Pavese, and Pasolini have appeared in Paragone-Letteratura, Quaderni del 鈥900 and edited collections. Se别听.
Teresa Fiore聽is Associate Professor and Inserra Endowed Chair in Italian and Italian American Studies at 精品成人福利在线 University. She is the editor of the 2006 issue of聽Quaderni del 鈥900聽on John Fante. Her articles on 20th-century Italian literature and cinema, Italian American culture, and immigration in Italy have appeared in journals (Annali d鈥橧talianistica,听Diaspora,听Bollettino d鈥檌talianistica) and edited books:聽Teaching Italian American Literature, Film, and Popular Culture聽(2010),听The Cultures of Italian Migration聽(2011) 补苍诲听Postcolonial Italy聽(2012). Marisa S. Trubiano聽is Associate Professor of Italian at 精品成人福利在线 University. Her recent publications include articles on the screenwriter Ennio Flaiano and Italian cinema, and oral history within the context of Italian American cultural studies. Her book聽Ennio Flaiano and His Italy: Postcards of a Changing World聽was published by Fairleigh Dickinson University Press in 2010. Current projects include the translation of Flaiano鈥檚 theater into English.

David Del Principe聽is Associate Professor of Italian at 精品成人福利在线 University. He is the author of the book聽Rebellion, Death, and Aesthetics in Italy: The Demons of Scapigliatura聽(1996) and various articles on 19th- and 20th-century Italian and European, Gothic literature and culture. His current research interests lie in a new field of study, the EcoGothic, that embraces Ecofeminist and Vegan Theory and Praxis, Critical Animal Studies, and Post-Humanism. He recently served as Guest Editor of a special issue of the British journal Gothic Studies (The EcoGothic in the Long Nineteenth Century, Manchester University Press, 2014). Se别听.
Paolo Valesio聽is Giuseppe Ungaretti Professor Emeritus in Italian Literature at Columbia University. He is editor in chief of th别听Italian Poetry Review (IPR)聽and president of the 鈥淐entro Studi Sara Valesio鈥 in Bologna. His research includes modern and contemporary Italian literature, rhetoric and spirituality, as well as the theory and practice of creative writing. Beside numerous critical essays and articles, Valesio has published, curated and co-curated several works of criticism (including the edition of Filippo Tommaso Marinetti,听Venezianella eStudentaccio) as well as novels and collections of short stories. Valesio is also the author of seventeen volumes of poetry (the latest being聽La mezzanotte di Spoleto).
Marcello Neri聽is Professor of Catholic Theology at the University of Flensburg (Germany) and Co-Director (with Prof. Markus Pohlmeyer) of the Workgroup and Project 鈥淟iterature and Theology鈥 at the Department of Catholic Theology of the University of Flensburg. His latest book聽Esodi del divino聽(Il Mulino, Bologna) will be released in Fall 2014.
Alberto Bertoni聽is Professor of Contemporary Italian Literature and 20th-century Prose and Literary Genres at the University of Bologna. He is the editor of poetry series (Book Editore), research board member for 鈥淧oesiaFestival,鈥 and jury member for various literary prizes. His main publications include:聽Taccuini 1915-1921聽di F.T. Marinetti (1987),听Dai simbolisti al Novecento聽(1995),听La poesia come si legge e come si scrive聽(2006), il 鈥淢eridiano鈥 dei聽Romanzi聽di Alberto Bevilacqua, 补苍诲听La poesia contemporanea聽(2012). Salvino Raco聽is an independent theatre director. He received his MFA in Theatre Studies at the Sorbonne University Paris III. He has participated in performances and workshops by Pier鈥橝lli, Bob Wilson and Tadeusz Kantor. His works have been presented at the Triennale of Milano, Fabbrica Europa in Firenze, Festival Contemporaneo in Prato, Biennale of Venezia, and Spazio Ansaldo in Milano. Enza Antenos-Conforti聽is Assistant Professor in Italian at 精品成人福利在线 University, and the current Deputy Chair of the Italian Program. Her publications are in the field of second language acquisition and, in particular, the role of emerging technologies in foreign language education (Foreign Language Annals, Calico Journal). Her research and teaching interests also focus on Italian language in the U.S. Se别听.
Rhiannon Noel Welch聽is Assistant Professor in Italian at Rutgers University. Her research interests focus on 19th-21st-century Italian literature, film, and cultural studies and in particular on issues of (post-) colonialism, biopolitics, race, nationalism, migration, and labor. Her essays have appeared in journals (Italica) and edited volumes (National Belongings, L鈥橧talia postcoloniale). She is the translator of Roberto Esposito鈥檚 Terms of the Political: Community, Immunity and Biopolitics (2013). Her book manuscript Vital Subjects: Race, (Re)productivity, and Italian Modernity is currently under revision. Se别听.
Jo Ann Cavallo聽is Professor of Italian at Columbia University and current Chair of the Italian Department. 聽Her most recent book,听The World beyond Europe in the Romance Epics of Boiardo and Ariosto聽(2013), received the 2011 Aldo and Jeanne Scaglione Publication Award.聽She is also the author of聽The Romance Epics of Boiardo, Ariosto, and Tasso: From Public Duty to Private Pleasur别听(2004), and co-editor of聽Fortune and Romance: Boiardo in America(1998).聽Her articles focus on early Christian and Gnostic literature, Italian authors from the medieval to the modern period, and folk traditions that stage epic narratives. She is currently co-editing (with Carlo Lottieri) the volume 鈥淪peaking Truth to Power from Medieval to Modern Italy鈥 for聽Annali d’Italianistica聽(2016). Se别听.
